TAT VILÀ PAINTING PRIZE 2024

GENERAL PARTICIPATION BASES

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE: All artists over 18 years old.

THEME: Free.

TECHNIQUE: All types of paintings are accepted for this competition.

DIMENSIONS AND TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS: The sum of two sides of the painting, without the frame, must not exceed 240cm, nor be less than 140cm. In the event that the work is submitted with a frame, it cannot exceed one centimetre of width. Under no circumstances, will glass-framed works will be accepted.

SHIPPING: Before submitting any painting, participants must register on the web page from June 1 to 30, 2024 complete an entry form and provide, among other things, the following information:

· Technical specifications of the painting

· Brief descriptive report

· Artist’s resume

· TIFF or JPEG images of the painting with a resolution of 300 ppd and a maximum size of 10 MB

· Justifying posting transfer with registration rate: 10€

The Registration Rate for Participation is 10€, to be paid by bank transfer to the ES56 2100 0808 1102 0084 3302 bank account.

It will be necessary to write down the name and the surname in te concept.
Inscriptions without the transfer will not be considered and it will be necessary to attach the payment justify to the site enabled for this purpose.

SELECTION OF THE FINALISTS: A selection made by the jury among all entries will be exhibited at Traç from September 25 to October 6, 2024, from which they’ll pick a winner.

DELIVERY AND SHIPMENT: Traç will contact finalists via email during the month of July. The selected paintings must then be submitted to:

When: Between September 12 th and 20th, 2024

Reception hours: Monday thru Friday from 9 am to 1 pm, and from 4 pm to 8 pm

It is essential that all entries are original and have not been submitted to other contests before.
All care will be taken with entries but no responsibility can be accepted for loss or damage in transit, incoming or outgoing, while on the competition premises or during the exhibition. Originals selected and submitted for final exhibition must be fully insured by the artist.

RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS: Entries not awarded or not purchased must be picked up from Traç between October 9 and 31, 2024 from Monday to Friday from 9 am to 1 pm, and from 4 pm to 8 pm.

Entries not collected on these dates will be bequeathed to Traç unencumbered. Traç is free to add them to its own collection.
Entries not complying with the conditions set forth or not submitted within the established dates will not be accepted.
Submission of an entry in this competition automatically constitutes acceptance of all the competition rules and conformity with the decision of the jury.

AWARDS: Winning entry will receive € 2,000 and will become the property of Traç and can be exhibited freely in Traç’s facilities.

The winner of the Tat Vilà Painting Prize will hold an exhibition at the Centre Pere Pruna within a maximum period of one year from the date of the award ceremony.
At any time, the jury may declare the prize void. The amount of the prize is subject to withholding tax established by current legislation.
The winner allows Traç use all rights of the winning entry for communication, publication and reproduction purposes in all known or unknown media and formats.
The award ceremony will be held on Saturday, September 28th at the opening of the exhibition.
